Using EFT/tapping, nervous system regulation, meditation, and coaching, we begin to bring your system back into calm. You stop feeling constantly on edge. The mental noise starts to quiet. What is EFT / tapping?
Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as EFT and tapping, is a powerful, holistic technique that addresses a range of issues. Based in the combined principles of Chinese medicine and modern psychology, many people refer to it as emotional acupuncture.
While focusing on the negative emotion at hand, like a fear, worry, bad memory, or any unresolved problem, you use your fingertips to tap on 9 specific meridian points of the body. Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while addressing the root cause of the distress, sends a calming signal to the brain. This allows you to feel relaxed and in control. Research shows that tapping calms the amygdala in the brain, regulates our nervous system, reduces stress, lowers cortisol by 43%, and boosts our immune system.
